City DescriptionAtherton is an incorporated town in San Mateo County, California, United States. Its population was 7,194 at the 2000 census. It is one of the wealthiest cities in the United States.
In 1866, Fair Oaks (Atherton) was a flag stop on the California Coast Line of the Southern Pacific Railroad between San Francisco and San Jose for the convenience of the owners of the large estates who lived north of Menlo Park. The entire area was called Menlo Park. It had been part of the Rancho de las Pulgas that had covered most of the area, which is now southern San Mateo County. There were several attempts to incorporate Fair Oaks, one in 1874 and another in 1911.
In 1923, Menlo Park wished to incorporate its lands to include the Fair Oaks lands. During a meeting of the representatives of the two communities, it became clear to the Fair Oaks property owners that in order to maintain their community as a strictly residential area, they would have to incorporate separately. Both groups rushed to Sacramento but the Fair Oaks committee arrived first. Are there any addiction treatment centers in Atherton, California that address cases of gambling addiction?

I'm doing a report on gambling for one of my classes and I would like to find more information regarding gambling addiction. I figured that since I don't know someone who is afflicted with such a disorder, I'd go directly to treatment centers so that I may interview a patient.
Answer:
To find addiction treatment centers, just use the links below. You can also call up the local health services department and get a list of treatment centers from them. I don't think you'll get to interview patients, though. I think it's against the rules of treatment centers. They can be very strict regarding patients' privacy. Maybe you can just interview the counselors instead. Good luck! I hope you get all the information you need.

Did Sharon Cole of Redwood City California die around 1980s Suicide?

Does anyone remember Sharon Linda Cole born about September 15,1953. She was married to a Harley Davidson biker guy {dont know his name} and he was killed then shortly after Sharon was dianosed with cancer {I think?} then commited suicide somewhere in Redwood City, California. Sharon was raised living with her parents in Menlo Atherton, California, her father passed away around the 1960s then later her mother moved to Half Moon Bay California around 1970s into the famous TV movie stars ranch John Payne also Sharon moved there for awhile then moved back to Redwood City in 1974 then later met a biker guy got married then passed away. I dont know where she is baried but would like to start bring flowers to her grave as she was very close to my family in the late 1960s to early 1970s.

I have searched the ssdi for Sharon but I'm unable to find any thing on her as you haven't given her married name. She was born in Alameda California and her mums maiden name was Carlson, if you have any idea what her married name was, I would be quite happy to do another search for her.
