City DescriptionAtascadero is a city in San Luis Obispo County, California, about equidistant from San Francisco and Los Angeles. Atascadero is farther inland than most other San Luis Obispo County cities, and as a result, usually experiences warmer, drier summers and cooler winters than neighboring cities such as San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach. The current population is around 28,000.
Atascadero is primarily a residential and commercial community. The city has a somewhat rural character too, and it has many residential lots from 0.5 acres (2,000 m) to about 5 acres (20,000 m) in size. Some city residents keep livestock or grow agricultural crops on their property. The city's largest employer with approximately 1,800 employees is the Atascadero State Hospital, an all-male, accredited, maximum-security California state facility for the treatment of men with psychiatric illnesses, who have been convicted of a crime or have been found incompetent to stand trial. It was previously the only facility in the state penal system that dealt with sexually violent predators, but nearly all have now been assigned to the newer Coalinga State Hospital. What are the closest major airports to Atascadero, California?
Answer:
Certainly San Luis Obispo is closest, but I'm not certain how many flights you'll find in and out of this airport.
Santa Barbara may have more flights, and it's quite close.
San Jose, San Francisco or Oakland are all good, if you can take a few hours to drive south (maybe 3 hours)
Los Angeles, Burbank and Ontario would be the closest airports to the south, and these would mean a drive of about 4 hours.

That's quite an interesting mix of cities there.
Lancaster: Try Quartz Hill. Lancaster and Palmdale are known for having a lot of bored teens, and gang problems. Sure, the real estate is inexpensive, but the ride into LA is a killer. It's cheap because it's in the high desert, which means HOT in the summer, and cold enough to get a dusting of snow in the winter.
Avenal? I'm guessing you aren't from around here. I am not aware of any upscale suburbs around Avenal. First of all, you need a big city nearby to have upscale suburbs for all the big money-makers to escape to. However, there is no really big city nearby. Fresno is the nearest large city, but it's 60 miles away. Lemoore is a nice enough area.
Atascadero: Now you're talking! Central Coast, rolling hills, that's where the happy cows live. Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo (even has a state university), Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, Arroyo Grande, and even Santa Maria are all desirable areas within driving distance.
About halfway through typing this, I figured out why you're asking this. There's only one reason to going to or even asking about Avenal, and the other two have similar situations. Of the three, you should focus your energies on Atascadero, simply for the location. You'll find more upscale places like Pismo Beach, SLO, Paso Robles, Avila Beach, etc. The towns are smaller and nicer.

Are there any apartments in Templeton, California? Or if there is, how much do they range? Are there other nearby cities that has more options of more apartments? I have been looking for a very long time and I have not found one at all. They said trying Atascadero and Pasa Robles. They do not have anything except for one apartment complex and it is called Mustang Apartments. Please let me see cheap houses for rent too if you come across with this info.

I am going to try to figure out a way to ask every single resident of the town that i live in for a $1 dollar donation for our County's only no kill cat shelter , the Humane Society on Ramona Road in Atascadero, because they may have to shut down due to no funds!!
