We have dined numerous times since the new owners have taken over. It is just solid, well flavored, wonderful "Italian and Italian American" cuisine. Unlike many restaurants, I have had a great meal every single time I have gone, there are really no "good" or "bad" dishes. You can take anyone there and they will not only be pleased with their food, you will have the experience of fun Italian dining.

This place is so overrated. The shrimp was overcooked and the ahi tempura roll tasted like the oil it had been fried in. Everything looks great but just doesn't taste that good. Such a huge disappointment. I had to fill up on french fries to keep myself from starving. One last thing...super stingy on the wine pours.

I must have been there on a bad afternoon. The service was great, very friendly. I thought the food was way overpriced and not that great. My rice was undercooked, the beans not too tasty. The price for a side order of beans was more than most places, and we got half as much as we do in other restaurants.

We work by OAK and have the hardest time finding good, fun places for lunch. We jumped on the freeway and got to Townhouse Bar & Grill super fast, and thank God for Valet! We had an amazing lunch. Service was decent. We are chocolate cake experts and theirs got a weighted 6 from us. Risotto and Ravioli were absolutely fantastic. By the way this is a cute place for a first date : )

The food is fabulous. We were not happy with the service at all, however we will definitely give it another try. Our server may have simply had a difficult day. She did apologize (several times) for failing to acknowledge us, take our order, bring our drinks, re-fill our glasses, offer desert or even bring our bill. We are not demanding or picky diners at all but this was pretty bad. We'll try this place again because the food was worth giving it another chance.
