City DescriptionWilton is a town in Little River County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 439 at the 2000 census.
Wilton is located at 33°44′20″N 94°8′52″W / 33.73889, -94.14778 (33.738916, -94.147654).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.4 km² (1.3 mi²), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 439 people, 162 households, and 121 families residing in the town. The population density was 130.4/km² (336.7/mi²). There were 202 housing units at an average density of 60.0/km² (154.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 58.31% White, 40.77% Black or African American, and 0.91% from two or more races.
There were 162 households out of which 30.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.6% were married couples living together, 16.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.3% were non-families. 23.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.71 and the average family size was 3.12.
