City DescriptionWillisville is a town in Nevada County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 188 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Hope Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Willisville is located at 33°30′51″N 93°17′44″W / 33.51417, -93.29556 (33.514033, -93.295475).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 4.1 km² (1.6 mi²), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 188 people, 76 households, and 57 families residing in the town. The population density was 45.4/km² (117.5/mi²). There were 85 housing units at an average density of 20.5/km² (53.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 79.26% White, 19.15% Black or African American, 1.06% Native American, and 0.53% from two or more races. 1.60% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 76 households out of which 30.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.8% were married couples living together, 10.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.7% were non-families. 22.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
