City DescriptionPerry is a town in Perry County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 314 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Little Rock–North Little Rock–Conway Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Perry is located at 35°2′46″N 92°47′43″W / 35.04611, -92.79528 (35.046137, -92.795373).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.1 km² (0.4 mi²), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 314 people, 119 households, and 89 families residing in the town. The population density was 288.7/km² (742.3/mi²). There were 124 housing units at an average density of 114.0/km² (293.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 97.13% White, 0.32% Native American, 0.32% Asian, 0.32% Pacific Islander, 0.32% from other races, and 1.59% from two or more races. 0.96% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 119 households out of which 37.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.7% were married couples living together, 12.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.2% were non-families. 24.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
