City DescriptionPeach Orchard is a town in Clay County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 195 at the 2000 census.
Peach Orchard is located at 36°16′47″N 90°39′50″W / 36.27972, -90.66389 (36.279666, -90.663871).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.6 km² (1.0 mi²), none of it covered by water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 195 people, 78 households, and 56 families residing in the town. The population density was 76.1/km² (197.9/mi²). There were 97 housing units at an average density of 37.8/km² (98.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 97.44% White, 2.56% from other races. 2.56% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 78 households out of which 32.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.7% were married couples living together, 9.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.2% were non-families. 28.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 17.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.50 and the average family size was 2.98.
