City DescriptionMulberry is a city in Crawford County, Arkansas, United States and part of the Fort Smith Arkansas-Oklahoma Statistical Area. The population was 1,627 at the 2000 census.
Mulberry is located at 35°30′28″N 94°3′28″W / 35.50778, -94.05778 (35.507791, -94.057883).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 7.7 square miles (20.0 km²), of which, 7.6 square miles (19.6 km²) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.5 km²) of it (2.45%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,627 people, 669 households, and 472 families residing in the city. The population density was 215.5 people per square mile (83.2/km²). There were 743 housing units at an average density of 98.4/sq mi (38.0/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 96.19% White, 0.06% Black or African American, 2.64% Native American, 0.25% Asian, and 0.86% from two or more races. 0.92% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
