    City Description

    Lead Hill is a town in Boone County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 69 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Harrison Micropolitan Statistical Area. Lead Hill is located at 36°24′53″N 92°54′25″W / 36.41472, -92.90694 (36.414815, -92.906907). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.4 km²), of which, 0.5 square miles (1.2 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.2 km²) of it (12.96%) is water. As of the census of 2000, there were 287 people, 126 households, and 86 families residing in the town. The population density was 605.2 people per square mile (235.8/km²). There were 144 housing units at an average density of 303.7/sq mi (118.3/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 96.86% White, 0.35% Asian, and 2.79% from two or more races. 0.35% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
