City DescriptionGuion is a town in Izard County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 90 at the 2000 census.
Guion is located at 35°55′35″N 91°56′26″W / 35.92639, -91.94056 (35.926425, -91.940598).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.5 km² (0.6 mi²), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 90 people, 37 households, and 26 families residing in the town. The population density was 59.9/km² (155.3/mi²). There were 45 housing units at an average density of 30.0/km² (77.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 88.89% White, 10.00% Black or African American, and 1.11% from two or more races.
There were 37 households out of which 21.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.2% were married couples living together, 2.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.7% were non-families. 27.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 21.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.43 and the average family size was 2.85.
