According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.5 km² (0.2 mi²), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 244 people, 104 households, and 66 families residing in the town. The population density was 471.0/km² (1,191.9/mi²). There were 123 housing units at an average density of 237.5/km² (600.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 99.18% White, and 0.82% from two or more races.
There were 104 households out of which 25.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.7% were married couples living together, 3.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.6% were non-families. 33.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.35 and the average family size was 3.00.
