    Gateway is a town in Benton County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 116 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Fayetteville–Springdale–Rogers, AR-MO Metropolitan Statistical Area. Gateway is located at 36°29′10″N 93°56′18″W / 36.48611, -93.93833 (36.486000, -93.938253). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.5 km²), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 116 people, 43 households, and 30 families residing in the town. The population density was 203.9 people per square mile (78.6/km²). There were 48 housing units at an average density of 84.4/sq mi (32.5/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 96.55% White and 3.45% Native American. There were 43 households out of which 39.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.8% were married couples living together, 2.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.2% were non-families. 20.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
