City DescriptionForeman is a city in Little River County, Arkansas, United States. Foreman is most notable for being the hometown of Tracy Lawrence. Foreman is also home to the three time defending class AA Arkansas state softball champions, the Foreman Lady Gators. The population was 1,125 at the 2000 census.
Foreman is located at 33°43′16″N 94°23′49″W / 33.72111, -94.39694 (33.721213, -94.396888).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.0 square miles (5.1 km²).2.0 square miles (5.1 km²) of it is land and 0.51% is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,125 people, 490 households, and 297 families residing in the city. The population density was 573.7 people per square mile (221.6/km²). There were 566 housing units at an average density of 288.6/sq mi (111.5/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 67.29% White, 27.29% Black or African American, 1.96% Native American, 1.07% from other races, and 2.40% from two or more races. 2.04% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
