Questions Possibly Related to Camden, ArkansasProvided By Y! Answers
im 16 and really want to start an acting career. the only problem is that i live in camden arkansas. how? Question: such as how to start, what should i do? i am taking acting cources in school and participate in all school plays. i am planning on going to college and study theater but i want to act seriously!
Answer:
First of all, calm down. If you're serious you have a lifetime ahead of you, there's no hurry. Besides, there are nowhere near enough parts for girls under the age of 30 to go around, it's gonna be tough. Continue taking as many classes as you can, get involved in every production you can get your hands on, be it on stage, as a techie, mopping the floor after, whatever. Introduce yourself to people and SUCK UP. You don't have to be shameless, but the more people you know the easier it will be, especially if you show a willingness.
Go to college and study theater. If you CAN get into a conservatory like Juliard, DePaul, or Carnegie-Melon, but don't be discouraged if you don't, they're EXTREMELY competitive. Otherwise try to go to a school that has a Bachelor of Fine Arts. And I'm sure you'll know this by the time you graduate, but, get an agent.
There's nothing wrong with Camden, Arkansas
Four Important Rules:
1. Get an agent
2. Introduce yourself to everyone you can at every production you can manage to be a part of
3. Work hard at it
4. Expect rejection.

If you can still find it anywhere, the Bucket List just came out on dvd. You can get it on sale for 14.99. Put it in a bucket with some other items, to make your own "bucket list" for your dad! I'm putting a nice sponge for car washing, a can of cashews, a giant Mr. Goodbar, and a notebook for making lists.
Or just give him a bucket with sponge and car washing soap, and put a big bow on it, then make a card offering to help him wash his car!

Where's the help for Gustav evacuees? Question: My family evacuated from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, to Camden, Arkansas. Our bank closed early the day before we left, so we left with $300 cash. We have paid for a hotel room for 3 days, and we have been feeding our two kids of course.....the electricity and water and sewer are still out where we live. We applied with FEMA, but that will take at least 17 days......The Red Cross isn't helping individuals as of now.....we can't bring our kids home to no electricity....ANY SUGGESTIONS? (besides not living in Louisiana) Isn't the Government supposed to help out here or do we have to have people from new Orleans crying and dying all over the news???
Answer:
Hi, I am sorry, but I truly dont have any ideas. . . . . . just my prayers and best wishes.
If it werent so far, I would say c'mon to Montana and I will fix you dinner but . . . . . that isnt practical.
I am surprised Red Cross isnt helping, I thought that is what I give them money for.

Raining cats and Dogs ? --------Happy Hallowen !? Question: Okay, so it may not be raining cats but it definitely rains frogs occasionally and it's been reported all over the world. You may have seen it rain frogs on such TV shows as The X-Files. The most likely explanation made by meteorologists is that a near-by wind storm sucked them up and after moving them many miles, spits them back out again. You decide for yourself where these little guys come from.
In the summer of 1926, a young caddie at a local golf course recorded this "frog fall". here had been a drought that summer and the fairways were brown and dried up. One afternoon, a sudden storm came up and a terrific thunderstorm followed. Rain came down in torrents and with it frogs about the size of nickels. They were alive and jumping and there were thousands of them. The golfers and the young man couldn't believe their eyes as they watched thousands of frogs rain down from the sky.
W.A. Walker, Evansville Indiana (Camden, Arkansas News 1-2-1973.
"I was raised on a farm in Minnesota, and as a boy, I remember a storm coming up. It looked serious, so we ran to the cellar. Afterwards we went outside and saw our chickens eating tiny frogs and fishes!"
F.J. McManus, Laguna Beach, California

w hat do you think? true or false !
Answer:
It's actually true! Scientists have discovered that mostly after a tornado goes over a small pond with fish, it will start raining frogs because the tornado sucked them up. The frogs were then too heavy to be kept in the clouds, and they fell. I've read about that a few times. (I research the weirdest things) So actually, it is quite true!

What types of assistance are being provided to the evacuees of hurricane Gustav? Question: My family evacuated Breaux Bridge,Louisiana because of the hurricane. We are now temporarily in Camden, Arkansas. There is a church here offering meals. The Red Cross is not helping individuals at this time. FEMA was authorized to help individuals yesterday...but we can't get through on the phone to FEMA. We applied on line, hopefully that will work. I'm wondering what else is being done for the evacuees....lots of people were under mandatory evacuation and had to leave. Thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people are missing work, we can't get home yet because of power outages in our neighborhoods, lack of gas at any of the gas stations. The banks are offline, sewers are messed up and there is no running water in a lot of parts of Louisiana. So what's the deal? Are we supposed to go back home to that with barely any gas money to get back, after paying for a hotel room for 3 days because we were not allowed in our city??? Isn't the government supposed to step in here?
Answer:
I'm sorry to say it but have you not learned from Katrina that the Bush administration doesn't care about you? It is the harsh reality that so many people blind themselves to. When they do not accept this truth they turn on other victims and point out the help they receive from others as a sign of their prosperity, when it is just as bad. Until there is a Democrat in the White House those of us who suffer at the hands of nature beyond our control will always be second fiddle to the ability to gain money by charging $50 for an apple with that fat military contract.
