compare and contrast the federal government of the united states and the government of the state of arkansas?
    Question:
This essay should examine the executive branch, the judicial branch, and the legislative branches of government. The essay should also deal with the federal system itself and explain which powers are delegated to the federal government and what powers are reserved for state government and what powers are considered concurrent. Any similarities or differences in processes should be discussed as well.

    Answer:

what are the three branches of goverment in the state of arkansas

    Answer:

Why are you guys so obsessed with Bill Clintons association with the Scottish Rite Freemasonry?
    Question:
The "President-maker" David Rockefeller, met Clinton in the mid 80's in Arkansas to prepare him for what was to come. The State of Arkansas, by the way, is a major seat for the Brotherhood elite. The south branch of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry has its center here, and from this area Albert Pike (33 degree Freemason) created the Ku Klux Klan.

    Answer:
Why don't you put the paragraph prior to the one you wrote her first. I already know the Clintons are K K K and want a New World Order, and that is why Bill was ruining our military in the 90's as he did. If they take our guns away and abolish the First and Second Amendment, we will be under the rule of a modern day Hitler. Ain't gonna happen. "It was in Oxford as a student Clinton came to hear about the One World Government for the first time, and what was required to be a member of this New World Order. In an interview in 1994 Clinton said that he'd known about the "Shadow-government" already in his youth, and had been very enthusiastic to get an entrance into the "Inner Circle" and from there have the opportunity to participate in decisions regarding the future of the world." I am voting for Obama, so it doesn't matter what the Clintons do, as if it ever did. And, George Bush said we would miss him, I think you ought to think about what the man meant, becaus the Clintons are bad news. All you have to do is open your eyes. And I am not for McCain either, don't get it twisted. But I do believe we will wish we had George W Bush in the White House if Clinton is nominated.

Can you help me with these Govenment questions?
    Question:
Select the best answer: These are the ones out of 50 questions that are stumping me. 9.The flexibility of the original United States Constitution is due mainly to A. its provision for the amending process and judicial interpretation. B. its guarantees of freedom and justice for all people. C. the ability to create new branches of government as needed. D. the willingness of the states to accept Federal control. 17.Which historical event best demonstrates the operation of checks and balances? A. President George Washington used the Army to suppress a tax rebellion by Pennsylvania farmers. B. South Carolina seceded from the Union over the issues of slavery and States rights. C. President Dwight D. Eisenhower sent Federal troops to enforce the integration of public schools in Little Rock, Arkansas. D. The Senate approved the appointment of Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court 21.The United States Constitution grants certain powers only to the Federal Government. For example, only Congress can declare war. These powers are called A. police powers B. reserved powers C. delegated powers D. concurrent powers 28. The implied powers suggested in the United States Constitution and the amendment process are necessary in order to.. A. remove government officials from political office B. check the power of the Supreme Court C. allow government to meet the changing needs of society C. preserve the federal system of government. 31. The writers of the United States Constitution created a federal form of government primarily to A. limit the powers of the Senate B. develop a criminal justice system C. provide for civilian control over the military D. divide power between levels of government

    Answer:
Not having taken this class (at least not in over 40 years) and not having read your textbook, I'll explain why I chose each answer. Take it for what it's worth. 9. I'd say A. Flexibility suggests change. Being able to amend the constitution is why it's flexible. 17. Check and balances is about one branch being able to approve or prevent the actions of another branch. The branches involved are the legislative (congress), the judicial (courts) and the executive (president). D involved the legislative branch approving an action of the judicial branch. 21. This is an information question. The first two were questions you could figure out whether you knew anything about the constitution or not because of the wording. You just have to know this. I'm pretty sure it's reserved, but if you look up reserved powers in the index, you should find a definition to confirm or negate that answer. If it's wrong, look up the other terms in the index and see if you find something. 28. A toughie. Implied powers are powers not specified. Remove officials...I'd say that would have to be specified. If it wasn't anyone or no one could do it. Check the power of the Supreme Court...we already know that's part of checks and balances, and pretty specific. It's stated that the other two branches have that power. Allow the government to meet the changing need...that's sounding pretty good. Preserve the federal system sounds pretty definite. Implied powers says to me, there are things will come up in the future that we can't imagine right now, and we need a way to deal with them. So my answer would be C. 31. Well, what's a federal form of government? Really simply, it's a government that consolidates several different entities, in this case states. It gives some powers to states, some to the fed; some are exclusive and some are shared. So by the process of elimination, I'd say D. Test taking was my best skill and my biggest problem. Because I was good at figuring out which answer was the most likely, I tested into classes I wasn't prepared to take. When taking a test, if you don't know the answer without looking at the choices, your best move is to eliminate the ones that you know don't work. Then pick from what's left.

At which bank shall I open an account? (Please read the details)?
    Question:
I will be studying at the University of Arkansas. What bank has most branches on campus. Plus, I need to open an account at a bank that has a wide ATM network in NYC, which bank is that?

    Answer:
Bank of America has at least 2 ATM's at the college. It has many in NYC.

    Miami Dolphins Future?
    Question:
Cam Cameron definiteyl is shaking things up, droppping Olinemen, and making a lot of roster moves. Also comment on our acquisition of joey porter and who you think we'll get in the draft. I hope for brady quinn but think we'll end up with alan branch or that cb from arkansas

    Answer:
3rd in their division behind the Pats and then the Jets. Picking up Porter is a good acquisition simply b/c of his talent but pretty unnecessary. He was not what they really needed, as that D was one of the best last season. They lost McMichael who is one of the best receiving TE's, they still do not have a #1 receiver (had alot of high hopes for Chambers but he's disappointing) and they lost Welker. Their offense has went from pathetic to even worse. They got rid of their best QB (which is sad b/c it was Harrington) and who knows about Culpepper. He sucks IMO, he isnt sh*t without Randy and i dont care if he is healthy or not, he still isnt sh*t. Ronnie Brown is gonna struggle b/c they will not have a passing game. Brady Quinn looks to be the best pick if he is there, he had a great pro day and is jumping back on the radar as a top 3 pick. If he is there i go for him if not then i go for a WR - Branch and the Houston kid from Ark. are both great players but that defense is stacked and that offense needs ALOT of help. Cam is in a hell of a position - great challenge ahead.

What do you think of my Mock Draft!?
    Question:
    1. Oakland Raiders- Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech 2. Detroit Lions- Jamarcus Russell, QB, LSU 3. Cleveland Browns- Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame 4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Gaines Adams, DE, Clemson 5. Arizona Cardinals- Joe Thomas, OT, Wisconson 6. Washington Redskins- Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville 7. Minnesota Vikings- Leon Hall, CB, Michigan 8. Atlanta Falcons (f/Hou)- Laron Landry, S, LSU 9. Miami Dolphins- Levi Brown, OT, Penn St. 10. Houston Texans (f/Atl) – Adrian Peterson, RB, Oklahoma 11. San Francisco 49ers- Alan Branch, DT, Michigan 12. Buffalo Bills- Patrick Willis, MLB, Ole Miss 13. St. Louis Rams- Jamaal Anderson, DE, Arkansas 14. Carolina Panthers- Greg Olsen, TE, Miami 15. Pittsburgh Steelers- Darrele Revis, CB, Pittsburgh 16. Green Bay Packers- Marshawn Lynch, RB, California 17. Jacksonville Jaguars- Adam Carekr, DE, Nebraska 18. Cincinnati Bengals- Lawrence Timmons, OLB, Florida St. 19. Tennessee Titans- Robert Meachem, WR, Tennessee 20. New York Giants- Joe staley, OT, Central Michigan 21. Denver Broncos- Jarvis Moss, DE, Florida 22. Dallas Cowboys- Aaron Ross, CB, Texas 23. Kansas City Chiefs- Dwayne Bowe, WR, LSU 24. New England Patriots- Paul Posluszny, OLB, Penn State 25. New York Jets- Justin Harrell, DT, Tennessee 26. Philadelphia Eagles- Michael Griffin, S, Texas 27. New Orleans Saints- Chris Houston, CB, Arkansas 28. Chicago Bears- Dwayne Jarrett, WR, USC 32. Indianapolis Colts- Ben Grubbs, G, Auburn I picked Calvin to go #1 because Oakland's shopping arounde for a QB. It's pretty obvious that they want him, but the QB is pulling them. Also, they want to deal Moss, and Porter isn't very good, so they want him desperately. Justin ,I wouldn't be criticizing. You don't even know the draft order, so just shut up. The Browns are drafting at the 3rd position.

    Answer:
Dude, i read your number 1 pick for the Raiders, and i stopped reading. Because the rest is obviously wrong. If you dont see the Raiders picking up a QB in the 1st round, especially Jamarcus Russell or Brady Quinn, then theres something wrong with you. The Raiders desperately need a QB than any other position. Why would they draft a WR when they dont have a good QB to throw the ball to him?????

    I need homework help? (Civics)?
    Question:
    Could you please help me with this essay question because I truly don't understand it and I would love if someone could explain it to me or something. Thanks in advance. {Compare and contrast the federal government of the United States and the government of the state of Arkansas. This essay should examine the executive branch, the judicial branch and the legislative branches of government. The essay should also deal with the federal system itself and explain what powers are delegated to the federal government and what powers are reserved for state government and what powers are considered concurrent. Any similarities or differences in processes should be discussed as well.}

    Answer:
I'm not sure about Arkansas specifically, but most states have a government that is very closely analogous to the federal government. So while the federal government is defined by the U.S. Constitution, each state has a state constitution. The president's counterpart is the state governor. Most states I believe also have a state senate and a state house of representatives, analogous to the federal government, and a state supreme court. The U.S. Constitution specifically states that any powers not expressly granted to the federal government are left to the states, but lawmakers can dodge that restriction because they control federal funding. The classic example is the interstate highway system: The states own, built, and maintain the roads, but are forced to comply with federal regulations because if they don't then they will be stripped of their funding. I'd look up the state constitution of Arkansas to compare it, or if you're feeling adventurous call a government official's office in Arkansas and ask whoever answers to explain it to you. Hope that helps, good luck!

    Answer:
This looks good as a whole but there are a few things to take into consideration. 1. Pittsburgh has expressed a huge ammount of intrest in Darelle Revis and he will not slip to the Pats. 2. In that case Polouszny slips to the Bengals and Beason will go to the Patriots as their Linebackers are getting old. 3. Tampa loves Calvin way too much and I personall see them swapping picks with the Lions to insure they get him. Lions will then take Gaines Adams. 4. Joe Staley may go to the Chiefs if you see them taking a lineman, Joe Staley is my personal pick, but they really could use a #1 receiver. Meachum, Bowe, and Ginn all possiblities. 5. I dont know why but teams love to take TE's too ealry so the Pathers or Green Bay may reach for Greg Olsen. 6. The Eagles have no real needs and will go with the best player on the board. So good call there, although they may want to add stability to an injury prone line. *** Frayne its 3 wideouts in 5 years . . . Mike Williams, Roy Williams, and Charles Rogers. Harrington and Ernie Sims went somewhere in between.

    What should we do?
    Question:
About a month ago,on a Saturday we reserved a boat at Rocky Branch Marina/Ugly John's in Rogers Arkansas. When we got there they had given our boat away to somebody else. Our names were on the list and the people they gave our boat to wasn't. Now after much arguing with the clerk, she refused to talk with us,told us she wasn't speaking to us anymore, and that we needed to call the manager. So we did and she offered us a free 1/2 day rental in the middle of the week. None of us could take the boat in the middle of the week, she said to bad then, and left us with no options. We contacted the general office and the president gave us a free rental on the weekend for an entire day.So when we got there they again had given all the boats away and said they had one left that we could have. Long story short the boat did not work and we were stranded in the lake and they would not come get us. We had to fix it and go back they still made us pay for the gas. Should make them give us our money back?

    Answer:
Is this it? http://www.uglyjohns.com/DesktopDefault.aspx?T0=319&T1=322 I just sent a link of this post to them. I told them I was going to reserve a boat, but now that I've seen how they operate, I don't think I should.

I have a serious question...LOL....YES IT IS TURE...I have a question about living in a Christian family???
    Question:
How many of you were born and raised in a family that was Christian, attended a Christian church, lived by Christian morals, and had Christian friends? What branch of Christianity is/was your famly? Are you still of that Christian faith or did you change to another faith or abandon Christianity? I was raised in a Southern Baptist Convention family in Kentucky. We made every effort to live by the morals and standards of the Bible. We had the fancy Bible on the coffee table. I am 36 years old and my faith is stronger and I attend American Baptist Association church in Arkansas. I am in the US Air Force.

    Answer:
I was born and raised in a Catholic home with both parents were very active and even had me become an Altar boy. I spent many night evaluating why I was a Catholic and watched as I saw almost nobody living life described in scripture. My older brother became a born again Christian and I began listening to him and I saw a real change in his life. He was living like the bible tells us to live. It took several years but I was finally convinced to leave the Catholic religion and begin a realtionship with Jesus Christ as my saviour. I have changed tremendously because of the power of God I feel within. God is truly as real as the key board I am typing these words with. We can not see him but he is as real as everything we see and do in our own lives. He has proved this to me due to the peace and joy I feel and by healing me of a crippled arm.

    What should I do...?
    Question:
The man I love is in Florida. I am in Arkansas. After I graduate, I am going to go down there for about a week, maybe two. I will come back, work in the WalMart home office, or some branch of it for a while to save up money. Then I have a decision to make. Do I transfer to Florida to be with him, or stay in Arkansas? My family looks down on the relationship. I love him more than words could ever express. He eventually wants to live in Ireland, but until then he wants to sail the world. He is buying a boat. What do I do?

    Answer:
You need to carefully evaluate your situation. You sound young, so heading down for a vaca with him should help solidify your decision and dilemma. After you are down there, you need to take some quiet time and write down the pros and cons of the relationship and all its variables. Try to remove your feelings for him and be as objective as possible. Oftentimes, parents know what is right for their kids. But decide for yourself with some serious self reflection and analysis. Good luck and have fun.

    Here's your sign!!!!!!!!?
    Question:
I am a medical student currently doing a rotation in toxicology at the poison control center. Today, this woman called in very upset because she caught her little daughter eating ants. I quickly reassured her that the ants are not harmful and there would be no need to bring her daughter into the hospital. She calmed down, and at the end of the conversation happened to mention that she gave her daughter some ant poison to eat in order to kill the ants. I told her that she better bring her daughter into the Emergency room right away. Here's your sign, lady. Wear it with pride. Seems that a year ago, some Boeing employees on Sign Idiot Backroomdesigns Jokes the airfield decided to steal a life raft from one of the 747s. They were successful in getting it out of the plane and home. When they took it for a float on the river, a Coast Guard helicopter coming towards them surprised them. It turned out that the chopper was homing in on the emergency locator beacon which activated when the raft was inflated. They are no longer employed at Boeing. Here's your sign, guys. Don't get it wet, the paint might run. A true story out of San Francisco: A man, wanting to rob a downtown Bank of America, walked into the branch and wrote "this iz a stikkup. Put all your muny in this bag." While standing in line, waiting to give his note to the teller, he began to worry that someone had seen himMS Word Version Idiot write the note and might call the police before he reached the teller window. So he left the Bank of America and crossed the street to Wells Fargo. After waiting a few minutes in line, he handed his note to the Wells Fargo teller. She read it and, surmising from his spelling errors that he wasn't the brightest light in the harbor, told him that she could not accept his stickup note because it was written on a Bank of America deposit slip and that he would either have to fill out a Wells Fargo deposit slip or go back to Bank of America. Looking somewhat defeated, the man said "OK" and left. He was arrested a few minutes later, as he was waiting in line back at Bank of America. Don't bother with this guy's sign. He probably couldn't read it anyway. A motorist was unknowingly caught in an automated speed trap that measured his speed using radar and photographed his car. He later received in the mail a ticket for $40 and a photo of his car. Instead of payment, he sent the police department a photograph of $40. Several days later he received a letter in the mail, which contained another picture, this time of handcuffs. He immediately mailed in his fine money. Another sign (though this guy might be onto something worth thinking about)! Guy walked into a little corner store with a shotgun and demanded all the cash from the cash drawer. After the cashier put the cash in a bag, the robber saw a bottle of scotch that he wanted behind the counter on the shelf. He told the cashier to put it in as well, but he refused and said, "Because I don't believe you are over 21" The robber said he was, but the clerk still refused to give it to him because he didn't believe him. At this point the robber took his driver's license out of his wallet and gave it to the clerk. The clerk looked it over, and agreed that the man was in fact over 21 and he put the scotch in the bag. The robber then ran from the store with his loot. The cashier promptly called the police and gave the name and address of the robber that he got off the license. They arrested the robber two hours later. Remind me to have more signs printed up. Give this guy his! A pair of Michigan robbers entered a record shop nervously waving revolvers. Arkansas: Seems this guy wanted some beer pretty badly. He decided that he'd just throw a cinder block through a liquor store window, grab some booze, and run. So he lifted the cinder block and heaved it over his head at the window. The cinder block bounced back and hit the would-be thief on the head, knocking him unconscious. Seems the liquor store window was made of Plexi-Glass. The whole event was caught on videotape. Oh, that smarts. Give him his sign!

How to remove the dead blooms from a Hybiscus?
    Question:
I purchased 2 braided hybiscus shrubs. They are about 4ft tall with the trunk being about 3ft. They were nearly dead when I got them and I repotted them in large containers. I live in Arkansas. Since repotting, they are thriving. The blooms are great, but I don't know what to do when the blooms close up to die, should I just pull the dead bloom of, or the "cup" that holds the bloom as well, or the whole stem that leads to the branch? Also, I read about winterizing and cutting the plant back, how can I do that when this is more like a tree? Thanks.

    Answer:
Pinch off the whole flower head. Yes Hybiscus can be cut back, ro if it's not to heavy bring it inside for blooms all winter!

New DNA in the West Memphis Three case?
    Question:
Defense investigators for the West Memphis three took cigarette butts from the home of murder victims Stevie Branch’s step-father, Terry Hobbs. The mitochondrial DNA found on a hair in one of the victims ligatures matched the DNA found on the cigarette butts. (Arkansas Democrat Gazette 3 Feb 08) This is an interesting case and certainly the new evidence must be reviewed by a court. There are just too many questions in the case to let three men seat in prison without examining any new information. Information can be found at: http://wm3.org/splash.php How do you feel about the case?

    Answer:
This is a case that has bugged me for a long, long time. I've always felt the WM3 were convicted primarily because of their clothing and lifestyles. Not to mention their relative poverty and ignorance. I wasn't in the courtroom, but I never heard any news reports with actual evidence in them. The victims, the families and the community deserve the truth, and I hope this new evidence provides some sort of real and tangible answers.

Looking somewhat defeated, the man said "OK" and left. He was arrested a few minutes later, as he was waiting in line back at Bank of America. (Don't bother with this guy's sign. He probably couldn't read it anyway.) Idiot # 4 A motorist was unknowingly caught in an automated speed trap that measured his speed using radar and photographed his car. He later received in the mail a ticket for $40 and a photo of his car. Instead of payment, he sent the police department a photograph of $40.Several days later, he received a letter from the police that contained another picture, this time of handcuffs. He immediately mailed in his $40. (Another sign...though this guy might be onto something worth thinking about!) Idiot # 5 Guy walked into a little corner store with a shotgun and demanded all the cash from the cash drawer. After the cashier put the cash in a bag, the robber saw a bottle of Scotch that he wanted behind the counter on the shelf. He told the cashier to put it in the bag as well, but he refused and said, "Because I don't believe you are over 21." The robber said he was, but the clerk still refused to give it to him because he didn't believe him. (Remind me to have more signs printed up. Give this guy his!) Idiot # 6 A pair of Michigan robbers entered a record shop nervously waving revolvers. The first one shouted, "Nobody move!" When his partner moved, the startled first bandit shot him. (This guy doesn't need a sign, he probably figured it out himself.) Idiot # 7 Arkansas: Seems this guy wanted some beer pretty badly. He decided that he'd just throw a cinder block through a liquor store window, grab some booze, and run. So he lifted the cinder block and heaved it over his head at the window. The cinder block bounced back and hit the would-be thief on the head, knocking him unconscious. Seems the liquor store window was made of Plexiglas. The whole event was caught on videotape. (Oh, that smarts. Give him his sign!) Idiot # 8 Ann Arbor: The Ann Arbor News crime column reported that a man walked into a Burger King in Ypsilanti, Michigan at 12:50 am flashed a gun. The clerk turned him down because he said the couldn't open the cash register without a food order. When the man ordered onion rings, the clerk said they weren't available for breakfast. The man, frustrated, walked away.
