Answer:
You want to stick with a bank that has been around a long time like a national chain. Also depending on your applications your require of a bank. I live in NW AR and travell alot down south so i needed a bank that was nationwide and so i chose regions. But there are many to choose from and depending on your travels and what you like there are many great banks here. I would suggest Regions, Arvest although not nationwide, not Bank of America because They made me feel like i was just another # and no personel service.

where are some good places to catch walleye in arkansas without going out in a boat, or is it even possible?

I have never fished for walleye and love to wade fish and bank fish. I would like to catch some walleye. I live in central Arkansas and know there are supposed to be some good places to go, I just don't know where or what to use.

just a tip........
any lake that stocks walleye will have the walleye running up in the river right now to spawn.u can fish off the bank,more than likely.
that is what i do where i live,and usually do pretty well.u will also catch crappie and white bass in the river due to spawning.
as far as lures go,i throw 3" curly tail grubs on jig heads,no bigger than 1/8oz,but usually 1/4oz or smaller.use a light to medium light action rod with no bigger than 8lb test line.just cast upstream and let the water take ur lure.
also u can use minnows as well,but i prefer the grubs.

What banks DO NOT use Chexsystem?

Im looking for a bank in arkansas that does not run your info through Chexsystems where I can open an account.
Answer:
All banks if they are regulated under FDIC use Chexsystems. I was in banking for 14 years.
Chexsystems is the only way banks can feel safe about opening an account and not getting burned.
If you have a chexsystems record, it will usually stay out there for about 7years. Sometimes if you go to the small community banks and explain your situation, they may let you open something for a test run, but one strike and your closed. You just better have a good story to back it up towhat happened to get you on there in the first place and if you have more than one report from 2 different banks, most likely they won't open it at all. Sorry to give you that bad news!

How can I find local churches or other places that will help with groceries, such as food banks?

In the state of Arkansas what happpens to a persons assets if they die and do not leave a will?

There are aires but no will to estate. Multiple bank accounts etc and some property.
Answer:
Assets are probated, meaning a judge determines who gets what. The word is "heirs"
Assets are distributed "per stirpes", which is latin for by relationship according to law. Children get first claim if there was no living spouse. If there are 3 kids, then the assets are split 3 ways. If there are no kids, the grandkids or siblings get a share, again, according to state law

Does anyone know how I can get help paying my rent in Washington County Arkansas?

My family and I need to move probably by the end of this month, problem is we don't have the money. My husband and I have 3 kids, he works and I stay home with 2 of them while the oldest is at school. His income is all we have, he makes about $15 a hour. All of the rental places we've looked at want the deposit and 1st months rent up front and we have about .26 cents in the bank right now. We will be able to pay a deposit and rent on the 26th but will have no money left over to buy food or pay bills. Does anyone have any ideas? Our families have no money and we don't have great credit.
Most places around here rent for between $600 and $1000 for a three bedroom and the deposits very between $350 and $600. The houses we're intrested in are $600 for a 4-plex, $695 for a duplex and $700 for an old house.

Check with some churches. Look on the internet. I had to move to a motel for a while. Salvation Army might help. Good luck. How much is rent where you are at? $15 is pretty good for now.

Since I don't know what part of Arkansas your friend is in, I can only give you links to charities within the state itself. After you check these out, I'd suggest looking under "Charities" in your yellow pages to get local organizations that can help. I'd also look up and call all the churches in your area, a lot of them run food programs and other assistance.

they told me that they were going to supeona my bank records and see how much i have comming in and going out.

They can not normally garnish (guarenshere?) a disability check, however once money goes in to a bank account it is fair game. It does not maintain it's source identity, it simply becomes money in the bank.
