Herb's is an institution. Opened in 1954 and been going strong ever since. There's a reason for that and it's the food and the staff. Both are extraordinary. FRESH Herburgers made from FRESH meat. All cooked while you watch, so you know for certain you're getting something great!

Pizza usually is "drowning in sauce. I had to take off the topping and remove most of the sauce in order to taste anything other than the sauce. Some of the staff are very rude.

The Sonic Drive-In in Ashdown isn't the best place to have a meal. The food is most often times wrong, the car hops can't correctly count back change, and you never get ketchup or any other kind of condiment unless you ask for it. There has been several times when I have even asked for it and not gotten it.

Stopped by there one day to pick up some meat. The meat was green! Goodness! So then I was going to get some Borden's chip dip. This was July. It expired in April and they only had two cartons. Also got some cheese at the deli. When I got home it had mold on it. This is the most horrible experience I've ever had at a grocery store. They really need to ROTATE STOCK and it might be ok.
