Now that The University of Arkansas finally got rid of Houston Nutt, who will coach The Razorbacks? Question: The Arkansas Razorbacks have been at the mercy of Houston Nutt, and held down by his inability to be anything more than good. After it being announced that he will not be returning (because he is not welcome) next season, who do you think will replace him?
For the ignorant people who think that The University of Arkansas athletic facilities mirror the reputation of the state, please do research before responding. After speaking with other SEC athletes (from Gainesville), I have heard that Arkansas has the best facilities they have ever seen, and that is continuously reiterated by fans from Texas, Southern Cal, and all over The SEC. Before saying "Houston Nutt is the best Arkansas could get," please realize how much more money goes into it's athletic program than your alma mater.
To those calling my question premature: You're right. The University has not officially announced it, I am going by local news broadcasts and Mark May's report that he will not be returning.
To Bulldog and everyone else who thinks that Arkansas is living in the glory days of Frank Broyles: I hate nothing more than when teams do that. When Alabama did that I was annoyed. When Arkansas fans do that I am annoyed. I'm not asking if Les Miles is coming to Fayetteville, I'm asking who will. Houston Nutt did great things for the program. He brought us respectability and made us a good football team for almost a decade. Fans don't want "good," though. We want steady progress, and we haven't gotten that. My many thanks go to Houston and his ability to make us a "good" football program.
Answer:
Several sources have reported including ESPN. I'd love to see Arkansas go after Mark Mangino from Kansas. Without a doubt, he's coach of the year! It will be interesting to see how our East Coast AD will change the dynamic of the coaching search.

Could I get some help with my small wedding budget? Question: My fiance and I want to get married next year but our budget is very small at a max of 5K, but preferrably less even. The reason being we're having to pool together to pay for it and we have no help from parents on either side.
We're thinking of doing it in the chapel at my alma mater then holding the reception outdoors in a park or someplace like that. Nothing fancy-smancy, just lovely and happy and memorable.
Anyone know of some good, but decently priced, vendors of any sort in Arkansas or Oklahoma that serve the Northwest Arkansas area? Just some tips on how to conserve money would be good.
Also, we're pretty young (of course, it's legal and we're over legal age) and my parents may find us 'foolish' for not waiting because they were young, skipped college, and fell on hard times . What's the best way to let them know without making a big fuss or making everyone angry??
Thanks so much!
We're still figuring out our guest list but it's at about 150-200 now.
Answer:
Please let us know how long your guest list is. That will help alot. In my opinion, Arkansas is going to be the place to go. Since they don't require witness or a waiting period for marriage, there are alot of people eloping there and having small weddings. Both Hot Springs and Gatlinburg have alot to offer you. They both have places that can offer you packages for great prices.
Look at white formal dresses instead of wedding dresses. They are both beautiful but the difference in the prices is mind boggling.
As far as flowers go, fresh ones are lovely, but much more expensive. Also, they last forever and, if you want to make your own bouquets, etc, you will have much more time to work with them. Flowers can get terribly expensive.
Opt for a small reception. Have your wedding in the very early afternoon, so people will not be terribly hungry. It will also keep you from needing to serve alcoholic drinks, 2 in the afternoon is just too early to drink. You could have cake, punch, coffee, nuts, and mints for the guests, and that would be fine. If you wanted something else, I would add finger sandwiches and cheeseballs or something similar. Definitely nothing but fingerfood, though.
Check out www.orientaltrading.com for some really great prices on different things. They have great stuff for cheap.
