Where do I begin since my Grandfather help build the lodge and furniture in ccc camp... When you step inside you feel at home and the service is wonderful and the food is very good and served with grace. I remember my Grandfather's storiers of their work on the mountain and how gentle the deer were that would come up and eat out of your hand. When you finish your wonderful dinner walk out on the point and look to your right and you will see a dwelling where the Indains lived and look straight ahead and watch the most beautiful sunset... I go often and have dinner and walk and think of all the wonderful history on this mountain.....

I've eaten there since the day it opened and it's always good down home cooking., and the waitresses are always right on it. I moved from the area but try to eat there when in town. They have a very good breakfast for a very nice price. Try it you'll go back.,when you see a full parking lot you know the food is good!

Stayed in the motel across the road while truck was being repaired. We ate here for a week any and all of the food was great most of the food was like home NOT your typical resturant food. Their Bar B Que sauce is made by hand not a computerized machine it may be a tad diffrent from time to time but still great.Notice they had a great crowed at each feeding time with alot of locals not just people like me so they must be coming back for more. I anyone thinks the food cost to much they don't get out often. All in All a great place and you can still get strawberry short cake out of this world.
