City DescriptionPaulden is a census-designated place (CDP) in Yavapai County, Arizona, United States. The population was 3,420 at the 2000 census.
Paulden is located at 34°54′3″N 112°29′3″W / 34.90083, -112.48417 (34.900785, -112.484205).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 62.8 square miles (162.7 km²), of which, 62.8 square miles (162.5 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.2 km²) of it (0.10%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 3,420 people, 1,144 households, and 925 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 54.5 people per square mile (21.0/km²). There were 1,334 housing units at an average density of 21.3/sq mi (8.2/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 91.99% White, 0.53% Black or African American, 2.37% Native American, 0.20% Asian, 0.12% Pacific Islander, 2.87% from other races, and 1.93% from two or more races. 15.64% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
