One of the worst Thai meals I have ever had. The restaurant was about half full but had several large parties and we had terrible service. Our water glasses were empty and at one point I had to get up and go find the waitress to ask for more rice. The food was mediocre to bad. Spring rolls tasted like they were from Trader Joe's freezer case. The Kaow Pad Krapow was advertised as having Thai basil (which it certainly should have!). I pointed out to the waitress that there was none in the dish and she started poking through it with utensils saying that it was there but that the chef had used "very little".The chef remade the dish so that it was acceptable, but still mediocre. Tom Yum Gung: mediocre. Massaman curry: mediocre. I believe the rice was American long grain rather than Jasmine. You have been warned.

I recently went with a friend and based on web reviews had high expectations... they were quickly ruined.. we were told they opened at 5pm... wrong.. they changed and now open at 6:00pm.. so we went next door to a place and had a drink and went back at 6:15.. We were told they had a happy hour.. Wrong.. they stopped that months ago. We were seated at a table and asked to move to a couch.. we were told they were all reserved, but the place was empty... after a bit of prodding they let us move to a couch. The atmosphere is dark, which I liked.. but the music was the wrong style and way too loud for social conversation. The staff was rather unfriendly. Parking was difficult, but we expected that based on a web review. Overall, it was very disappointing and we won't be going back.

A group of us were in the area for Spring Training and stumbled upon Flickas. We will be going back this year as well. Get ready for us BRITNEY....We'll see you sometime during March 13-17. Great restaurant. While the wood burning oven is the centerpiece, anything coming either out of it or the kitchens is delicious. The menu is heavy on the meats, but I had delicious fish there. It's a little tricky to get to, it's not exactly ON Scottsdale Rd. But worth the trip!

I work across the street from gyros express in scottsdale and eat there almost everyday for lunch. my recommendation would be there gyro salad and a glass of their wine to complement your meal.

It has been 6 years since my last visit. I was told the name had changed but the food was still the same. It was not. I didn't care for it at all & would not recommend it to a grerman person from gremany, however my friends who are americans truly enjoyed it. so for army germans enjoy! As for the traditional german i guess it depends on your own pallet

Sexual Descrimination alive and well in Scottsdale! This is my Mom's favorite restaurant in Scottsdale. My Mom, Dad, my girlfriend and I went while I was visiting. My girlfriend and I were wearing tank tops (It's the desert in summer, you know). The hostess went to seat us. I was trailing behind the group a little. I was stopped by another hostess. "I'm sorry sir, our gentlemen customers are required to wear sleeves." Have you ever tried the White Chocolate Grill? What a wonderful restaurant!

These were the BEST fajitas we have ever had! Mexican is my favorite food so I have tried alot of restaurants but this was by far the absolute best! Homemade torilllas and meat was delicious. Definitely reccomend going here if you're in the area! Great to go with a large group of people too!

It was a business lunch with a thousand things on my mind, the manager greeted me at the door and told me "I owned the joint" , my other diners were not there yet yet they still made me feel welcome waiting. The food was awsome and not overpriced for Scottsdale, am looking forward to return soon for the huge Martinis I saw at some other tables.

I ordered take out sushi roll for lunch today. When I opened the take out container, the first thing I saw was a short black hair in the box next to one of the rolls. I took it back, and I must say their customer service was something less than I expected. The woman at the front desk gave me a short, "I'm sorry", then curtly refunded my money. I cannot recommend Sapporo at all. Poor customer service and hair in the food is inexcusable!

I wasn't a big fan of Mexican food, until I ate here. What a wonderful atmosphere, great food choices and tastes are fantastic. They even paid attention to my need to decrease the heat. Thus, allowing me to experience Mexican food at my own pace. Very unique and authentic. Thumbs up.
