City DescriptionMunds Park is a census-designated place (CDP) in Coconino County, Arizona, United States. The population was 1,250 at the 2000 census.
Munds Park is located at 34°56′41″N 111°38′15″W / 34.94472, -111.6375 (34.944861, -111.637498).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 22.3 square miles (57.8 km²), of which, 22.3 square miles (57.8 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (0.09%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,250 people, 583 households, and 378 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 56.0 people per square mile (21.6/km²). There were 2,994 housing units at an average density of 134.2/sq mi (51.8/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 95.92% White, 0.32% Black or African American, 0.80% Native American, 0.24% Asian, 1.20% from other races, and 1.52% from two or more races. 5.68% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
