City Description

Littletown is a census-designated place (CDP) in Pima County, Arizona, United States. The population was 1,010 at the 2000 census. Littletown is located at 32°7′56″N 110°52′37″W / 32.13222, -110.87694 (32.132144, -110.877003). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.4 square miles (1.2 km²), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 1,010 people, 313 households, and 244 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 2,230.8 people per square mile (866.6/km²). There were 329 housing units at an average density of 726.7/sq mi (282.3/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 64.06% White, 2.08% Black or African American, 2.67% Native American, 0.20% Asian, 24.85% from other races, and 6.14% from two or more races. 50.40% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. There were 313 households out of which 41.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.0% were married couples living together, 16.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.0% were non-families. 17.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 4.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
