    East Fork (Western Apache Hawú'ishįįhé) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Navajo County, Arizona, United States. The population was 880 at the 2000 census. East Fork is located at 33°48′1″N 109°55′43″W / 33.80028, -109.92861 (33.800242, -109.928566). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.9 square miles (7.5 km²), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 880 people, 209 households, and 169 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 305.9 people per square mile (118.0/km²). There were 228 housing units at an average density of 79.3/sq mi (30.6/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 99.55% Native American, 0.45% White, and no Black/African American, Asian, Pacific Islander, other races, or two or more races. 0.68% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. There were 209 households out of which 41.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.6% were married couples living together, 29.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.1% were non-families. 16.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 1.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
