Do you agree with Duncan Hunter The fastest way to cut crime in the United States is to build a border fence?
    Question:
The fastest way to cut crime in the United States is to build a border fence with Mexico, according to U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., and a candidate for the GOP nomination for president. Hunter told WND in an exclusive question-and-answer session that when a section of his version of the border fence was finished in San Diego, crime in that city dropped by half. He was responding to a WND question about his perspective on the status of illegal aliens in the United States, and what should the U.S. do? "I get to answer the last part of that by talking about that I have committed that I will build the border fence that I wrote into law in six months. Last Oct. 26 the president signed my bill, the bill that I wrote that mandates 854 miles of San Diego style border fence. That's the fence I built in San Diego, Calif. Double layer fence with a Border Patrol road in between," he said. "The extension of that fence for 854 miles across the smuggling corridors of Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and California will be a priority, and that, incidentally, will be one of my first initiatives as president. That, I think, will have a salutary effect on illegal immigration problem, as well as the crime problem in this country," he said. "When we built that border fence the crime rate in the city of San Diego dropped by 50 percent. I think the crime rate will drop in every state of the union upon completion of the border fence," he said. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID =57917

    Answer:
I think it will cut crime dramatically. After all, any illegal immigrant has already broken one law. Beyond that, it seems illegal immigrants can break any law they want, they'll always have the liberals of America in their corner, ready to accuse anyone and everyone of hating Mexicans. Thanks to their tireless efforts, police in some places can't even ASK if you're here legally. If you were to look up what percentage of all homicide warrants issued in L.A was for illegal immigrants, I think you'll be astonished.

Will you contact your senators, congressmen and the president and demand results?
    Question:
Congressman Duncan Hunter recently sent a letter to President Bush about the border fence. You could sum up Hunter's letter in three words... "Where's The Fence?" Rep. Hunter wrote, "We are falling behind in the construction of border security fencing" and "deadlines for the completion of fencing will not be met." What are those deadlines? Of the total 854 miles mandated by the Secure Fence Act, the law stipulates that 392 miles be completed from California to Arizona by May 31, 2008 and an additional 30 miles be completed near Laredo, Texas, by December 31, 2008. How are we doing? According to Duncan: "Only 17.9 of the 854 miles of fencing called for in the Secure Fence Act have been completed as of August 10, 2007." Just 17.9 miles -- and let's not forget that they are building the wrong kind of fence! The law stipulates a double layer fence but the Administration has built just one-layer fencing this year.

    Answer:
Forget the fence! Dig a moat and put alligators all around it. Let's see them sneak past THAT! Now, dealing with Bush giving Mexican truckers all access to our roads, and deliver whatever they want to (MORE illegal immigrants)....that's an even BIGGER slap in the face to us as Americans. Even WORSE....on Labor Day weekend...one of the most traveled holidays. They are going to kill us on our own roads with their driving tactics.

Who feels some players in the NFL are harassed because race and fame?
    Question:
2, 2007 AP - Jun 22, 6:18 pm EDT More Photos GILBERT, Ariz. (AP) -- Tank Johnson's blood alcohol level was below the legal limit when the former Chicago Bears tackle was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving June 22. Johnson's blood alcohol level was .072, under the presumptive limit in Arizona of .08 percent, police Sgt. Andrew Duncan said Monday. No charges have been filed pending results of a completed investigation. Johnson, whose legal name is Terry Darnell Johnson, was arrested when officers pulled him over at 3:30 a.m. for driving 40 mph in a 25 mph zone. Duncan said an officer placed him under arrest because he believed Johnson was under the influence of alcohol. He was released without being booked or charged after providing a blood sample, and police said he was very cooperative. The 25-year-old player was released by the Bears three days after his arrest. The team said it was "upset and embarrassed" by the defensive tackle's legal troubles. T

Why are most Suns fans so hyprocritical?
    Question:
I am a Suns fan; I live in Arizona. I applauded when Raja clotheslined Kobe. I would love to have done that myself. And this "hip check" from Robert Horry, who may be considered as one of the best clutch players ever, is making many Suns fan crazy. It's not like Robert put his hands on Nash. And it is only one incident, I don't see how that make Robert so "dirty." I don't even see why Spurs are a "dirty" team for just playing tough defense. Sure, that foul on Nash was dirty, but it's only one foul. If we were to use one foul to judge a team's "dirtiness," then Phoenix is a dirty team and Raja is a dirty player. So calm down. I think the Suns might pull out. Amare and Boris are only out 1 game. And it's 2-2 right now, 3 more games to go. Don't be like Dirk and call it quits. Don't be a choker. Calm down, fans. Believe. P.S. Duncan was standing before the foul. There was no altercation. I don't think suspending Duncan just to make it "fair" is a valid reason. Suck it up I can't be upset with the NBA since they did no wrong but followed the rules. And the rule shouldn't be changed because change it to allow players getting off the bench in an altercation can only make things worse. This is a good rule. Players on the Spurs bench could have easily gotten up too. But they are smart enough that they didn't. They aren't champs by playing dumb. Manu didn't try injuring anybody. Amare made that up. Manu was only playing tough defensive. Bowen kicking Amare? Amare had a semi-fade away as Bowen run toward the goal in case of a rebound. Bowen had to back up, so Amare didn't crash into him. So Amare is a crybaby. I don't have to like all players in the Suns to be a fan. Sorry, but I trust Nash and Marion. And Nash and Marion are always so classy when they talk. Amare has the tendency to talk sh!t. It's not a wonder why Marion and Nash have more commercials and commercial appeal than Amare. Amare should keep his mouth shut. Raja is a relentless defender; Bruce Bowen is his role model! Raja is my favorite guy in the Suns. He got into Robert's face too. Raja is fearless. So, Amare, please shut your mouth and just play the game. Be like Raja. Clothesline someone if you have to, but carry on like Raja.

    Answer:
I think your being a little too hard on Suns fans... Its not a bad thing to be passionate about our team is it? Every other teams fans do the same thing...Were the Lakers not mad at Raja when he close lines Bryant? Yet the many times Bryant has done the same thing they have cheered him on. This is what fans do, if we were all just calm, cool and collected then we wouldn't be paying $4000 just to see a game, hell we wouldn't care to dress up or buy jerseys...games would be boring. Half of the fun is the rivalry! Its not very often that a suspension is not deserved so I am not arguing that part, but fans are still allowed to be mad about it, that's our job! To back our team whether they are right or wrong.

    Answer:
Liberals aren't upset that Bush pardoned Libby. Liberals are upset that it was Bush. After all, they can do whatever they want to, but anything a conservative does is automatically horrible. Clinton pardoned these people because they deserved it, no matter what they did. Bush is not allowed to pardon anyone for anything because he is not a liberal. Simple as that

Can someone edit my paper for me, for grammer and puntuation?
    Question:
Julia Duncan Professor Whiting English 100 22 April 2008 The Disney College Program is better than working on a semester of Cochise College. I would like to talk to you about the history of each program. Both of these programs are special to me in different ways. Also I have two personal experiences to share about; my interview for the College Program and the math class I had to take last semester. Besides sharing the history I would like to tell about the advantages and disadvantages of each program. I would like to give you a better understanding of why the Disney College Program is better than a semester of Cochise College. The Disney Web page told me that “the Disney College Program made its debut in 1981. In the early days, it consisted of slightly more than 200 students from 30 schools working in our one theme park, the Magic Kingdom Park. Since its debut, more than 45,000 students have participated representing hundreds of schools, and each of the program components (Living, Learning and Earning) has evolved to create the opportunity of a lifetime!” Also I read on the Cochise College website that “Cochise College opened its doors in 1964 as one of the first community colleges in Arizona. Today, we provide high-quality associate's-level education, professional development and workforce training to about 14,000 students each year.” Although Cochise College has a lot to offer its students to learn about, it doesn’t have the hands on experience in the work force that the Disney College Program has to offer. Two of my own experiences that I would like to share with you are; what happened on the day I interviewed for the Disney College Program, and how I made it through the difficult work in Math 82. So, it was back in February and I was dressed in a suit, which was unlike my usual casual attire of jeans and a t-shirt. I was on my way to interviewing for the Disney College Program. This was the day after my great grandmother’s death, so I was very sad. But either way, I mustered up enough courage to walk through the door and shake hands with the announcer. As the presentation went on I noticed how prestigious the whole company was, and realized that this is something I really wanted. She interviewed everyone two at a time and after she asked some tough questions I knew I hadn’t been accepted. Two months later, after debating everyone's files, I got an acceptance letter in the mail and cried because I was so happy. My story about Cochise would have to be how last semester I took Math 82, when I took the placement test I tested very low, but I have always done badly in math. Well I took it, and at first I was doing so well that I thought, ¡§This will be so easy.¡¨ But once I got into the groove of things I found it to be one of the most difficult classes I have taken. I almost thought I was going to fail by the end of the final, but in January my results came back as a C. I was so relieved I hadn't failed, that the C didn't bother me that much, and I figured I would make it up with my future college classes. Although I haven't been in the Disney College Program yet, I know that it is a task that will soon befall upon me and the experience I have told is one that I am feeling at this moment. Although it took a long time to get an acceptance letter back, I did and it gave me the confidence that I didn't earn after taking the college class. There are many advantages and disadvantages to tell about the Disney College Program and about Cochise College. The advantages of the Disney College Program are, the opportunities to earn credits through certain classes, earn job experience, and get a fabulous recommendation. Another advantage is being able to move to another state and come back and finish college when ready. Also many friends become lifelong ones, and learning to live on one's own isn't a bad aspect. Not needing to have an adult help with everything can apply to living alone and surviving in the job world. Being able to learn to cook, make the bed, and get up and go to work on time are all advantages later in life. The advantages of doing a semester of Cochise College are getting to earn credits, learning about the subject of choice, and earning friends. While both are social programs, the Disney one will give more independence and help your speech. This is because you are working on an independent level with all different kinds of people and you talk to so many that your speech will overall improve. The disadvantages of staying and working on college from out of high school are you have barely any break, and might drop out, if the work load is too heavy. The disadvantages of the Disney Career Start Program are that it takes time away from your main education. All these advantages and disadvantages show why each have many elements and reasons that taking a semester away from Cochise College is a good idea if accepted into this program. The Disney College Program is a hard working job, but is better than working on a semester of Cochise College. The Disney College Program is not only fun but it offers a lot of opportunities to better one's future. And if given the chance everyone should take it. There is a lot of background information as to how Cochise College and The Disney College Program started. This tells everyone who wants to attend how each became such a great company. The two experiences I talked about were both how I succeeded, and I wanted to show the contrast in the accomplishments. And after all the necessary information it was best to put in the advantages and disadvantages that make these two company's grand, and how the Disney College Program can better one semester of a person's life. How can I improve my interview essay?
    Question:
Julia Duncan Professor Veach English 101 17 July 2008 Interview Essay It’s interesting that you never really know a friend until you talk to them for the ten-thousandth time you can talk to them for days on end about nothing but never really get an aspect of what they are about. From interviewing my intelligent friend Katherine Smith, I now understand why she is so motivated to do what she does. She is superbly wise for her age of eighteen because she has already taken a local community college Spanish class and English class. How many eighteen year olds can say that they have completed the tiresome workload and stressful conditions of two college classes along with their senior high school classes? Not many can say that they have worked hard on their SAT’s to get into a prestigious school like Arizona State University, but Katherine Smith has. Although she became somewhat indecisive about picking her major, she said, “I kind of fell into Graphic Design”, she told me in my exclusive interview with her about her major and future in the job world. She told me, “I’m still not sure if it is what I want to do, I like to draw, but you just can never know about these things.” I nodded and laughed and agreed with her. Next, I asked if graphic designing is a competitive business to get into and she surprised me when she said, “This major is very competitive, out of one-hundred and forty people who apply for a graphic design major, only about half are going to be able to get into it, and it highly depends on your grades.” I wondered if ASU was the best school for this, and asked her if it was. She told me, “Yes, it is a good school for graphic design and it is a great place to start, but I am really not sure where I will end up.” Furthermore, I asked her how she was paying for her college career. I was stunned when she told me, “I didn’t receive a scholarship, unfortunately.” She added, “I am going to be working very hard because my parents are helping to pay for all my college funds.” The next question I asked was what do you mean by working hard? She told me, “by working hard I mean, my parents only expect me to maintain a 2.5 GPA, but I am going to surprise them by keeping a 3.5 GPA or higher.” She said it slyly and she seemed so motivated to make good grades it was somewhat intimidating. She also told me that her college job would be working on the ASU campus. I asked her, what will be the job that you have on campus? She replied in a comedic manner, “anything to pay for college, the sad thing is that I will never get to see any of the money I work for because it is all going to my college funds.” Then she reminded me that her parents were paying for her college funds and she added that she has rules that she must abide by and if she doesn’t then her parents will no longer pay for her college funds. She told me the rules were, “I cannot get pregnant, use drugs nor have any involvement with the police. I wondered now how her Graphic designing ideas had all started. She said, “I had a tour of Arizona State University when I turned fourteen years old and since then I had dreams of getting into accounting and sowing. But when my math grades started to descend downward and those dreams turned into dust.” I was surprised that she had trouble in math because she is so outgoing and smart but now I knew that she had some tough times just like everyone else. She added that, “I have never been into science, and becoming a Nuclear Physicist was just not an option, but I knew that I loved to draw.” Therefore, her love of art conquered all and she wanted a major as a Graphic Designer, whether or not she had a scholarship. She showed me to not give up on what I want to do even if I just “fall into it.” Not giving up on Katherine’s part showed that she has great stamina and persistence. I now know what kind of a person Katherine is inside and out and it only took a few questions. She is a great person who I will never forget down the road. I figured if my friend’s major does not ensue then I know she will have succeeded in anything she decides to go after because of her endurance and her personality.

    Answer:
It’s(DO NOT USE CONTRACTIONS IN AN ESSAY) interesting that you never really know a friend until you talk to them for the ten-thousandth time(PERIOD) you can talk to them for days on end about nothing but never really get an aspect of what they are about. From interviewing my intelligent (YOU STATED YOU DID NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT HER, TRY NOT TO LABEL HER INTELLIGENT BEFORE YOU OFFER YOUR ANALYSIS ON WHY SHE IS) friend Katherine Smith, I now understand why she is so motivated to do what she does. She is superbly (WORD CHOICE) wise for her age of eighteen because she has already taken a local community college Spanish (DELETED) and English class. Not many can say that they have worked hard on their SAT’s to get into a prestigious school like Arizona State University, but Katherine Smith has. It's okay, and that's about it. I would revise it for clarity issues.

IF the Mexican military has a problem identifying the exact location of the border would a big fence help out?
    Question:
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-CA) responded to reports that a Border Patrol agent was held at gunpoint by members of the Mexican military in Arizona by reaffirming the necessity for border fencing and other infrastructure. According to a State Department Spokesman, the encounter “stemmed from a momentary misunderstanding as to the exact location of the U.S.-Mexican border.” "I disagree with the State Department’s characterization of this incident," said Congressman Hunter. "The fact that members of the Mexican military are routinely operating in such close proximity to the border, with no identifiable purpose, raises serious questions about their activities. Rather than dismissing this incident as a mere misunderstanding, the Departments of State and Homeland Security should try to make sense of this and the more than 40 incursions that have occurred over this fiscal year alone. "If the Mexican military has a problem identifying the exact location of the border, then we should make it clear to them. Building fence and implementing other infrastructure in areas where incursions appear to be more frequent will prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. This isn’t the first time the Mexican military has crossed into the United States and, until our border is clearly defined and aggressively enforced, it certainly won’t be the last." NOTE: A Border Patrol agent was recently held at gunpoint by members of the Mexican military who crossed the border into Arizona. According to reports, the soldiers returned to Mexico when other agents responded to assist.

    Answer:
I bet they know what they're doing and where they're doing it, but a fence would make it harder for them to bullpoop their way out of it. what we really need to do is answer this atrocity with the presense of our own military.

Thanks! I don't understand why is Obama not on the list, all these people took a stand since day one! WHY can't I find his name, I am so disappointed! Dave, these people on THAT day took a position, anyone can say anything to the contrary now, like take the popular position, but is that the SAME as voting THAT DAY with the info you have? Maybe that Dennis K. should be the nominee he is on the list! FROM DAY ONE! He is trying to have his cake and eat it too, he did not campaign for a seat in the US Senate until 2 years after the war began, at that point anyone knew it was not a good war! no where am I a Hillary supporter, she is better than Obama but neither will beat McCain!

    Answer:
No he's not on there he's a shyster double-talking lawyer, inexperienced candidate, and vicious manipulator, who should prove himself in the Senate, not use his deep pockets to smear Hillary 24/7 and undermine a Democrat win! Great Question and Documentation ;-)

Why has Focus On The Family only now endorsed John McCain? Are they flip-flopping?
    Question:
Back in the fall of 2007, I attended the Family Research Council's "Values Voter Summit." The Republican presidential field was quite crowded then, and all of the major contenders showed up to seek the Religious Right's support. Some were received with more enthusiasm than others. Mike Huckabee was a big hit, while Fred Thompson fizzled. The reaction to U.S. Sen. John McCain was polite but restrained. A straw poll was held, and the results clearly indicated the depth of the Religious Right's antipathy toward McCain. He came in dead last, edged out even by U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter! Back then, various Religious Right honchos talked a tough line about McCain. Among them was James Dobson of Focus on the Family. Dobson went so far as to say he would never vote for McCain. Flash forward to fall of 2008. Suddenly McCain doesn't look so bad to the Religious Right. One by one, its leaders have climbed aboard the McCain bandwagon. Yesterday, Dobson officially flip-flopped and offered McCain his endorsement. On the air, Dobson read from a letter Focus on the Family Action, his more overtly political operation, is sending to supporters this month. In the letter, Dobson explains why "those who embrace a biblical worldview" must vote for McCain. Employing some creative verbal judo, Dobson attempted to argue that he's not really endorsing the Arizona senator. "While I will not endorse either candidate this year...I can say I'm now supportive of Sen. John McCain in his bid for the presidency," he said. McCain then went on to list four reasons why listeners should vote for McCain (McCain opposes abortion, the GOP 2008 platform is extremely conservative, McCain selected evangelical Christian Sarah Plain as his running mate and Democratic nominee U.S. Sen. Barack Obama is too liberal). He harshly criticized Obama for his views and attacked his running mate, U.S. Sen. Joe Biden. His arguments were a rehash of various GOP talking points against the Obama-Biden ticket. Dobson can split all of the hairs he wants. His broadcast is obviously an endorsement of McCain. It shows once again how top leaders of the Religious Right, who claim to be a leading a movement that puts principle above party, long ago became a collection of partisan operatives who make the necessary political compromises to try to keep their hold on power. More than a year ago, as I sat in the ballroom during the Values Voter Summit listening to McCain and the other GOP hopefuls, I felt reasonably confident that if McCain got the nod, Dobson would end up falling in line. He didn't disappoint me. Listening to his message yesterday, it seemed to me the only thing missing was an audio clip from McCain at the end: "I'm John McCain, and I approve this message."
