City DescriptionDolan Springs is a census-designated place (CDP) in Mohave County, Arizona, United States. The population was 1,867 at the 2000 census.
Dolan Springs is located at 35°36′57″N 114°15′39″W / 35.61583°N 114.26083°W / 35.61583; -114.26083 (35.615835, -114.260804).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 28.6 square miles (74.1 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,867 people, 912 households, and 528 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 65.2 people per square mile (25.2/km²). There were 1,311 housing units at an average density of 45.8/sq mi (17.7/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 93.63% White, 0.64% Black or African American, 0.86% Native American, 1.02% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 2.09% from other races, and 1.71% from two or more races. 6.11% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 912 households out of which 13.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.2% were married couples living together, 4.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 42.1% were non-families. 36.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 21.5% had someone living ...
