This place is awesome. It is the only sushi place I know that actually has a kids menu! Don't get me wrong, this place is still hip. But, you can also feel comfortable bringing kids here which is a plus for parents who LOVE sushi & pacific rim food. The have a great happy hour menu that is offered EVERY day between 4-7pm.

I never write reviews but thought it would be appropriate since I chose this restaurant based on the reviews. All the reviews were right! I have lived in Phoenix for 3 years and this is the only Japanese restaurant that I have had that has great sushi. The slices of fish are huge and the rice underneath it is minimal. I have eaten really good sushi in NYC and the LA area, and this sushi is right up there!

I have to agree that steveelo is nuts. Though not huge, an 80 seat restaurant is hardly tiny. The food was flawless as well as the service. The amuses were fun, unexpected and added to the dining experience. Perhaps steveelo should stick with Outback. As a chef/owner myself of a restaurant I have immense respect for what this couple is doing.

Sushi is very good. I have never had any bad fish or a bad meal. Japanese menu is very good for those that don't like Sushi. Only thing; better have plenty of time because service is a little slow. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars instead of 4. Nevertheless, a big thumbs up!

Macayo's in not good Mexican food. It is American food disguised as Mexican. If you want good Mexican food, go to Los Angeles Taqueria at 91st and Peoria or Sabor a Mexico on e S.E. corner of Dobson and Broadway. You wont be dissapointed there. Promise... Order a Carne Asada Burito!

I live in Tempe and have tried many pizza places around town. Ray's used to be my favorite until I ate here. I have been several times and it is by far the best pizza I have had since moving out here from NJ. I know my pizza. I love my pizza too and it pains me to live so far away from this place. Very friendly family from NY. If you are lucky enough to live around this place enjoy. The place is very clean, spacious and has tv's for sports and news. If you don't let your kids eat gum balls watch out. They have a massive gum ball machine and the owner rewarded a child with a gum ball for finishing his slice. Very friendly and they care if you like the food.

my sister and I like to come here just to drink and eat. The sandwiches are good, the pizza is perfect. They also serve seafood, but I haven't tried it yet. We go every Friday but I haven't been there nights. Eat and smoke outside and have the servers turn on the misters!

Variety= 5 stars/ Freshness= 5 stars/ Service= 5 stars What else matters? But again, that's just me. I was impressed. And I can be such a ... when it comes to food, especially sushi. Nice cozy place to enjoy lunch or dinner and when I mean cozy, I mean cozy. Don't think of planning your next company meeting there because you'll have half the crew waiting outside. This is the best pizza/italian place in Arizona!! The atmosphere is EXACTLY the way it would be in NYC. This pizza is the closest to a NYC style pizza oustide of NYC. They ACTUALLY have a demi based sauce and for anyone who knows about fine cuisine knows that any restaraunt that can take the time to make a demi is worth eating at. Trust Me! You will be surprised. Order the pollo marconi with angel hair and a slice.
