City Description

Arizona Village is a census-designated place (CDP) in Mohave County, Arizona, United States. The population was 351 at the 2000 census. Arizona Village is located at 34°51′13″N 114°35′3″W / 34.85361°N 114.58417°W / 34.85361; -114.58417 (34.853606, -114.584038). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.0 square miles (2.7 km²), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 351 people, 83 households, and 77 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 337.1 people per square mile (130.3/km²). There were 93 housing units at an average density of 89.3/sq mi (34.5/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 7.41% White, 0.28% Black or African American, 89.46% Native American, 1.99% from other races, and 0.85% from two or more races. 24.22% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. There were 83 households out of which 68.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 30.1% were married couples living together, 48.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 7.2% were non-families. 7.2% of all households were made up of individuals and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
