Pine Ridge is located at 34°26′45″N 85°46′45″W / 34.44583, -85.77917 (34.445939, -85.779069).
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.3 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 243 people, 100 households, and 70 families residing in the town. The population density was 192.2 people per square mile (74.5/km²). There were 112 housing units at an average density of 88.6/sq mi (34.3/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 96.30% White, and 3.70% from two or more races. 0.41% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 100 households out of which 33.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.0% were married couples living together, 7.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.0% were non-families. 29.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
