Brundidge is located at 31°43′9″N 85°49′5″W / 31.71917°N 85.81806°W / 31.71917; -85.81806 (31.719218, -85.818119).
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 9.7 square miles (25.2 km²), of which, 9.7 square miles (25.1 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (0.31%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,341 people, 1,014 households, and 652 families residing in the city. The population density was 241.2 people per square mile (93.2/km²). There were 1,192 housing units at an average density of 122.8/sq mi (47.4/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 63.52% Black or African American, 33.40% White, 0.51% Native American, 0.26% Asian, and 2.31% from two or more races. 0.81% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
