Bon Air is a town in Talladega County, Alabama, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 96. Bon Air is located at 33°15′50″N 86°20′01″W / 33.263798°N 86.333650°W / 33.263798; -86.333650. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.4 km²), of which, 1.3 square miles (3.4 km²) of it is land and 0.75% is water. As of the census of 2000, there were 96 people, 41 households, and 25 families residing in the town. The population density was 72.7 people per square mile (28.1/km²). There were 44 housing units at an average density of 33.3/sq mi (12.9/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 93.75% White and 6.25% Black or African American. There were 41 households out of which 19.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.8% were married couples living together, 12.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.0% were non-families. 36.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
