    Addison is a town in Winston County, Alabama, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 723. According to the 2008 U.S. Census estimates, the town had a population of 711. Addison is located at 34°12′0″N 87°10′40″W / 34.2°N 87.17778°W / 34.2; -87.17778 (34.200042, -87.177851). According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.5 square miles (1 km²), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 723 people, 315 households, and 219 families residing in the town. The population density was 205.7 people per square mile (79.5/km²). There were 339 housing units at an average density of 96.5/sq mi (37.3/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 99.45% White, 0.14% Black or African American, 0.14% Native American, 0.14% Asian, and 0.14% from two or more races. 0.14% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
